Here is why Airpods won't fall out and lost
Tim Cook from Apple explains why newly invented Airpods won't come out
In an exclusive interview, Tim Cook explains and reasons and supports why Airpods won't come out.
When host Robin Roberts asked him about the issue of losing the pricey ($159) devices, Cook immediately went into Apple presentation mode.
First describing the design and functionality of the AirPods' magnetic case, he then offered a new perspective on a question many have been asking.
"I've been wearing them [AirPods] for a while," said Cook. "And because they don't have wires on them… The wires tend to help the earbud to fall out, because it applies weight on those. By snipping the wires, I have never personally had one [AirPod] fall out."
